It's my birthday today!!!

Salam...

11th October 2009..it's my birthday today! the 35th to be exact. Wow! talk about age..boy! I feel old all of a sudden. Anyway, it's good to know Luke Perry & Michelle Wie share the same birthday with me..of course nobody cares who the heck I am. Anyway for some, at 35, they have accomplished their dreams, their goals..anything from making the first million $$$, owning a grand big bungalow perhaps?, achieving financial freedom...and etc. These goals are more on the material prespective.

Well, let see at 35, what have I accomplished? how do I compare my self with the others of my age? how do I measure? Do I get a D? C+? B+ or A? I really don't know...infact it's kind of scary to even think about it especially if the person I compare with is far better than me...I would definately feel inferior.

I guess, first of all..I should take a deep breath...and syukur..many2 thanks to Allah for granting me another day to live on this planet. Syukur because I still have a roof over my head ( although it is no Bungalow or some posh condominium) but it's what I called heaven on earth..my home sweet home. Syukur because I have the most fantastic!!loving wife ( bodek le ni) who really supports me through thick and thin...syukur because I have my beautiful kids that colours my life..cheer me up during my stressful days. Now, that really put a smack big wide smile on my face..I am so glad and thankful of what I have with me today.

Of course, I won't keep my guard down..or just be happy on my state of today...like other people, we all need to be better day by day..we all have our goals in life..it is painted a perfect picture for us.

Eid Fitri 2009

Semuanya gembira belaka, ye lah kan hari raya..syukur nikmatNya. Aku terpaksa menahan godaan juadah Hari Raya terutamanya ketupat & rendang!!! baru je dua minggu lepas Doktor aku dah warning, I must lose some weight and eat moderately + exercise!!!.

Kami melalui Karak-Lebuh Raya Pantai Timur-Cherating-Kemaman-Kerteh-Marang-Kuala Terengganu. Mulanya plan nak stay kat Hotel Permai Inn ataupun Sumai Hotel di KT, tapi disebabkan jem teruk sangat setibanya di Marang, kami pun terjah jer hotel mana yang terjumpa!. Akhirnya bermalam di Hotel Seri Malaysia Marang.

MasyaAllah, teruknya keadaan hotel tu!! so dusty..so dirty..worst of all, toilet pun tersumbat!! aku siap minta tukar bilik sampai tiga kali..I shall never set my foot in that hotel again!. Seriously the management needs to revamp the whole area..semua dah shabby jer..

The next day ( third day Raya) kami bertolak dari Marang melalui Jalan Pantai - Kampung Raja-Tok Bali-Malawi-Besut-Bachok. The journey almost like 3 hours plus. I enjoyed very much the long journey balik kampung...beautiful sceneries...the waving coconut trees..the clean white beaches along KT..the rural areas..the malay kampungs...ahhhh so nice...so peaceful..wished I could have like a month holiday!!!

Of course during Eid Fitri..the kids have all the fun in the world..they're up and playing with their cousins all day..all night..playing fire crackers..flying kites..and all the games they could think of. As for us, the grown ups, we are off shopping till we our last single ringgit!!! ( hehe just kidding), of course we did go kind of overboard on shopping, anyway its only once a year you get to balik kampung..so what the heck, just a little slip up once a year, won't hurt me much..I'll get over it.

The other thing that is nice in Kelantan is their food!!! we really belasah those ayam perciks..Mee Kg Pek..Nasi Sumatera..and many many more!!! Kelantan food fest galore!!! all throughout Syawal.

After spending about three days in Kelantan, finally its time to head home, we travelled back to KL on friday morning..spent the night at Suria Cherating ( this is a really good hotel!!) We brought a lots of keropok kering & lekor at Cherating & Tok Bali on our way back. The next day we're off to KL. reached KL about 2 hours..no jam great!!!.

Yup..Ramadhan & Syawal are the two most favourite months in my calendar, definately!!!Semoga Allah panjang umurku & keluargaku untuk menikmati Ramadhan & Syawal yang seterusnya...Amin.

Rabbit Farm Bukit Tinggi

In April 2009, We stopped at Bukit Tinggi recently on our back to Kajang, after a fantastic holiday getaway in Cherating. Bukit Tinggi by the name it self, means High Hill. So its like some certain metres above sea level, very cool and nice weather up there. However, it is now known as Berjaya Hill. There, at the rabbit farm we arrived about 5pm, if I am not mistaken the rabbit farm close by 5:30pm. The entrance fee is very cheap ( I can't recalled) but I think its somewhere between MYR5/person to MYR3/person.

My two little kids have the most exciting time there, chasing those rabbits, touching them, carried them like babies!, feeding them ( yup! there's a small shop that sell rabbit food as well as other sovenirs). Of course me too and wife for once turned into kids ourselves. hehehe.

I have a thought to buy a couple of rabbit my self after the trip, but then I thought these little rabbits multiply very fast and I think I would not be able to provide a proper care. Well shove the thought then.

Anyway, If you guys have the chance, just go there! it is only like 30 minutes of drive from Kuala Lumpur to Bukit Tinggi. I would definately go there again.

Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum,

Alhamdullilah...Allah masih beriku peluang untuk menikmati Ramadhan buat kali ke-35. MasyaAllah..dah semakin lanjut usiaku..Anak-anakku juga dah semakin besar, Faris sekarang berumur 9 tahun, Fatin pula sekarang sudah 6 tahun. Perkahwinan aku bersama isteri tersayang sudah 10 tahun. Pantasnye masa berlalu. Rasanya baru lagi kita menikmati bulan yang penuh barakah ini..rasanya baru sahaja kita menyambut Aidil Fitri..rasanya baru sahaja aku membayar zakat fitrah..Sesungguhnya, kehidupan kita di dunia terlalu sibuk..terlalu pantas. Aku risau, sangat risau kerana aku mudah lupa..mudah lalai..dah takut hanyut di dalam arus dunia yang menyesatkan umat manusia!
Di sekeliling kita terlalu banyak..hiburan...terlalu banyak maksiat..terlalu banyak kelalaian..terlalu porak peranda..terlalu banyak konsipirasi...Risau..teramat risau bagaimanakah masa depan anak-anak kita? bagaimanakah masa depan kita sendiri?

Aku amat merindui Ramadhan, sebab bagiku inilah bulan yang betul-betul menenangkan jiwaku..nikmatnya Ramadhan...berkatnya Ramadhan..Semoga kita semua insaf dan kembali kepada Islam..the way of life..AMIN

Mat rempit aka Samseng Jalanan

On May 19th 2009, with immediate effect Mat rempit is now called Samseng Jalanan. Samseng Jalanan or in the english version Tugs on Wheels (TOW) is tought to be an aggresive step by the government to label this menace and to take a serious approach in apprending this social ill of which without doubt is becoming of a grave threat to the public and nation as a whole. The Police came out with this name as to identify this TOW as means to propose better punishments/penalties that in hope to curb down this social ill epidemic. We all know the TOWs, are well associated with snatch theft, wayside robberries, rape, theft and gang attack on people. Some of these victims even succumb to death. The public are in fear of even hearing their names and the sound of these ramping bikes send shivers to the people.

My personal opinion, by labelling them would not make any different..I think they pretty much like the whole nation attention on them. These TOWs, I rather called them Terror on Wheels are mostly short minded/narrow minded people whose enjoys life and have no care of what their action would affect the people around them. All they care is they will have what the want, be it legally or better yet illegally ( this really turns their ardenalins on). If we look at it closely, the majority of them are:

1) The Malays( ohh.. how come I'm not surprise??),

2) The age group between 15 to 35 ( live life like barbarians ..and die young, go to hell forever)

3) Single ( yeah but 'married'-at least when they do die no baggages left..or maybe some abandon babies/sometime dead babies from their ever willing stupid female companions)

4) Blue collars workers/lower income earners
5) Low education
6) Low to Mid income family background
7) Lack spiritual religion knowledge and practise

Well lets observe something here...we know that the Police & the government are doing its best to curb this threat..but unfortunately it is not decreasing..in fact it is getting worse. What else can we do...what are other best approach we can 'help this zombies' so that they will become an asset to the country instead of being the trash of the country. I am sure, the government are working closely with the expert of psychology department and other means of sources to find the better/effective options to curb the problem.

I also would like to share my 2 cents opinions to the options as well:

1) Label them as public enemy, so that we are all ( the public) can legally can kill them..yes fight fire with fire...muahahahha. ( No sorry I was just kidding) Please scarp this point.
**************************************************************************************

1) Education - educate our children of the danger being a TOWs

2) Create awarness - among our teenagers via campaign etc

3) Instills religious values, in our education from primary level and up to tertiary level. ( please people who have the authority!!! do not shut your eyes on this, this is the key to save our most valuable assets - our young generation who will inherit this nation)

4) Stop all the TV programmes ( especially reality TV shows/concerts/entertainment that are immoral and time wasting.
5) Jail term for TOWs ( the longer the better)
6) Death terms for those who rape & murder their victim
7) Revoke their motor license - let them just ride bicycles!!
8) Put them on counselling & religious guidance until they finally cured!!

Well I guess...it is going to be a very very long road before we could to see any improvement, though I do notice some mat rempit..opsss I mean TOWs finally 'wake up' from their self-made mess, when they reach a certain age, normally in their 30++. Maybe they realized, that there is more to life than riding the terror to others, unfortunately not many have the self-conscious.

But end of the day, we cannot give up on them, they are part of the society, well they drifted and very very far actually, but nevertheless its our resposibility to help them and bring them back to 'life' and contribute and serve our beloved nation and to become the proud generation of Malaysia.

Steps to avoid H1N1 Virus

FOR CAR'S OWNER

Do not turn on A/C immediately as soon as you enter the car!
Please open the windows after you enter your car and do not turn ON the
air-conditioning immediately. According to a research done, the car dashboard,
sofa, air freshener emits Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin (carcinogen- take note
of the heated plastic smell in your car). In addition to causing cancer, it poisons
your bones, causes anemia, and reduces white blood cells. Prolonged exposure
will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer may also cause miscarriage.
Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked indoors with
the windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene. If parked outdoors
under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up
to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level... & the people inside the car will
inevitably inhale an excess amount of the toxins.
It is recommended that you open the windows and door to give time for
the interior to air out before you enter. Benzene is a toxin that affects your
kidney and liver, and is very difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff
